an interior stylist, design consultant, & writer based in Charlottesville, VA.
Let me tell you a bit about myself ...
I’ve worked for over 30 years as an interior stylist, designer, consultant, buyer and visual merchandising manager, and have been employed by several of the nation’s top furniture manufacturers and home goods retailers, including: Ethan Allen; Baker, Knapp & Tubbs; Scandinavian Designs; and Calico Home.
Through my work in Los Angeles, Denver, Nashville, and the mid-Atlantic region, I’m accustomed to working with celebrity clientele, community leaders, and corporate executives and am well versed in providing exceptionable customer service to my clients. Consequently, I have an exceptionally high rate of repeat, longterm clients.
My studio provides residential and commercial design services, including airbnb design concepts as well as retail design and display planning. I am experienced in working across all design genres and creating bespoke furniture and cabinetry for projects.
My work is focused on high-end, custom design projects including new home construction and kitchen, bathroom, and whole home remodeling. I assist clients with interior and exterior material, finish, fixture, and appliance selections as well as walking clients through custom cabinetry design and selection. I also collaborate with trade vendors, contractors, craftsman, and architects.
I am passionate about art and using original artwork in my spaces. I have been an art collector for over 30 years.

I organize my sock drawer according to color, not only because I find it aestheticly pleasing, but because it's efficient.

From age six, I knew I would study architecture. I couldn't imagine life without the ability to design and create.

I love meeting new clients, discovering their dreams for their homes, and being shown favorite possessions. Design is an intimate exchange.
